To get you started, we've put together a list of the main types of modelling, so you will have a clear picture of what to aim for with your own content creation.
Non-Nude & Non-Sexual
If you're not a sexual content creator and don't want to be then this is the type of modelling to focus on, as contrary to popular belief, you can still be just as successful without showing any nudity or acting in a sexual manner. This type of modelling is ideal for those who are just starting out and finding their way as a content creator, as it shouldn't push your boundaries when it comes to nudity or sex but if you're already a content creator who's primary focus is nudity and or sex, it's never a bad idea to start incorporating non-nude/non-sexual themes into your content.
Non-Nude
Similar to the above, Non-Nude focuses on the obvious fact that you won't be nude, however, this type of modelling can include sexual poses, references and facial expressions just without the nudity. It's ideal if you perhaps have a high sex drive but don't want to show nudity or you're working on gaining the confidence to include nudity. This type of modelling is great for building an audience with the promise of one day progressing towards full nude.
Underwear & Lingerie
Progressing on from Non-Nude and although technically non-nude, is underwear and lingerie. This doesn't have to be content worthy of the Victoria's Secret catalogue but can include everyday underwear in a casual and non-sexual setting or you can go all out and make it as sexual and runway worthy as you like. It's great for teasing potential fans without having to reveal anything further (unless you want to of course.)
Implied Nude
Moving on to the next level of teasing and anticipation is Implied Nude modelling. This is where you appear to be nude but your private areas are always covered in one way or another whether it's with your hand, an object in the foreground or with a bed sheet or towel for example. This style is great for teasing in photos and especially videos, as you can go to reveal yourself but cut the video to black just before you do. This level is the 'naughtiest' type that is allowed on social media platforms but still post with care.
Topless
Topless is of course revealing your breasts in full but how often you do and which platform you choose to post your topless posts on is up to you and can depend on how many followers or subscribers you entice. For example, a good strategy is to post implied topless videos/photos on your social media and inform viewers if you want to see full topless, subscribe to your chosen subscription platform. Alternatively, post your topless content regularly on Twitter to gain a bigger following.
Full Nude
Full nude is of course showing everything but doesn't have to involve opening your legs or bending over in sexual positions. It could be as simple as just not having any bottoms on when you shoot your topless content. Playboy is a classic example of nude modelling without getting too sexual, shot in a fully-lit setting or a relaxed environment with natural light.
Artistic Nude
If you want to add an artistic touch to your full nude modelling then why not try Artistic Nude modelling, which incorporates more creative lighting such as using one light source to create shadows and dark areas creating depth and atmosphere. Black and white photography is a very popular option in this case and can make a stunning addition to anyones content. This doesn't have to be done with a professional photographer either.
Erotic Nude
The most popular place for Erotic Nude examples is the top shelf of most convenience stores. This includes 'open leg' modelling where you will reveal all, while fully nude but doesn't include sex toys or anyone else. This can include self-masturbation content (rubbing but no insertion of fingers).
Continental
Moving to the next level from Erotic Nude is 'Continental' modelling, which includes the use of sex toys and insertion of fingers. It bears the name 'Continental', as the only place you could see it in print form years ago, was in publications from the continent (Europe). Nowadays it's everywhere online but has kept the name, as an obvious replacement hasn't been found. This can include only the insertion of fingers to using a suction cup dildo for full on toy penetration.
Implied Boy/Girl (BG), Girl/Girl (GG) (Softcore)
If you'd like to incorporate another person into your work to make it more erotic without going all out with hardcore content, we suggest Implied B/G, G/G etc. This could involve a lot of kissing and rubbing but also full-on implied sex just without seeing the penetration (if there is any). Implied is a very popular type and is also great for teasing if you only want to offer hardcore on paid platforms.
Hardcore - Boy/Girl (BG), Girl/Girl (GG), POV/Gonzo
Although Hardcore content is seen as many as the most popular, you don't have to do it to become successful. There are many amazing content creators out there who make huge amounts of money from other types of modelling but if you want to go all out and focus on hardcore, we can help. This obviously includes full on sexual penetration from a partner and can be shot in different styles including POV (Point of View), amateur/homemade, professional, cinematic and even artistic.
If you're brand new to modelling we recommend starting from the top and slowly working your way up until you find the type of modelling that you're comfortable with because don't forget, if you're not comfortable to do a certain type of modelling and do it anyway, the chances are that you're going to regret it.
